These SMS Terms & Conditions govern your use of text messaging services provided by JusticeWare.

1. Consent to Receive SMS Messages

By voluntarily providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively opting in to receive SMS messages from JusticeWare, you consent to receive transactional text messages related to your use of the JusticeWare platform.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

2. Types of Messages

JusticeWare may send transactional messages including, but not limited to:

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and verification codes
  • Password reset requests
  • Account security alerts
  • Account notifications
  • Case status updates
  • Court hearing and appointment reminders
  • Filing confirmations
  • Other service-related notifications necessary for the operation of the JusticeWare platform

JusticeWare does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages.

Message frequency varies depending on your account activity, court activity, and notification preferences.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier’s plan. JusticeWare is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

5. Opting Out

You may opt out of receiving non-essential SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any JusticeWare text message.

You may also opt out of individual message types through the notification preferences in your JusticeWare account within the app.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications unless you subsequently opt in again or request an authentication code or other user-initiated security message.

Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier. JusticeWare cannot guarantee successful or timely delivery of every SMS message.
